Brunel Racing Car designed by students at Brunel University London 




Brunel Racing was UK Class 1 Formula Student Champions in 2002, and was the leading UK team at Formula ATA 2005, the Italian Formula Student event. In 2006 Formula Student Event, Brunel Racing was also the highest finishing UK competitor using E85. The second racing team of post-graduate students from the MSc Automotive and Motorsports Engineering called Brunel Masters Motorsports. The BMM team was the UK Class 2 Formula Student Champions in their first year, 2005.
Brunel Racing is the UK's leading Student racing team. The team consists of MSc and MEng students of Brunel University London. Brunel Racing participates in FSAE competition in both segments Class1 and Class2. Brunel Racing has been competing in Formula Student events since 1999 and the team has become an integral part of Brunel University’s Motorsport Engineering Degree and Brunel University Engineering and Technology education which is ranked in world top 100 by Times Higher Education Ranking.Formula Student has fixed formula for specification of engine, suspension, weight, safety and Student Teams are judged on the basis of different parameters such as design, cost, safety, fuel economy, endurance and acceleration. From FSAE 2014 Silverstone Race event, Brunel Racing work on Yamaha 600cc Engine which is bike engine. Student Team design Intake and Exhaust System and calibrate this bike engine to meet requirement of a Race Vehicle. Other system like Body, Chassis, Brake, Steering and ECU are completely designed and developed by students. This year engine performance was  55Nm at 9000 and 67Kw at 12500 and Brunel Racing came at 10th position. There are certain improvements has been done for year 2016 Race,each system has been redesigned and tuned to achieve better results.  This year team is very experienced and include members from more than 10 difference countries who has worked in automotive industry and participated in Global Racing Events. Brunel Racing is aiming for a big bang win this year.
